Getting the Most out of Your Brain Power

Pulling Out Brain MedI am always interested in reading new stuff about how the brain works, and we are all trying to get the most out of our work week.  An interesting research survey of German workers lead by Wolfgang Maennig of the University of Hamburg found that employees with high levels of education had consistent levels of life satisfaction during the workweek, but it dropped on the weekends.  Apparently, during the weekend, those employees were anticipating the stresses of the coming week.  However, employees with less education were not as prone to weekend worrying.  If this is true, there should be even more emphasis on freeing your brain and writing the activities needed to prepare for Monday on the Friday before your weekend.  Read my other brain food blogs here:  [link]
