Myopia (nearsightedness) – get it corrected now!

There is so much talk about millennials and the workplace (millennials are born between 1981-1996).  I applaud the notion that this group of people find it very important to understand the vision and purpose of a company.   However, they also need to understand what they are committing to before they commit.  Standing ovation!  To me, this basic form of leadership and understanding of a company’s purpose and sharing so that everyone on a team is able to participate in getting there is less about the demanding millennials.  It’s more about reminding leadership that that kind of vision and outlook is what makes for strong and passionate work force of all ages.  Go Millennials – you are already making a difference.
